WHY CATHOLIC?

The WHY CATHOLIC? program is a comprehensive Faith Formation Process that connects the richness of our Catholic faith to everyday life by providing easy-to-understand explanations of the Catholic faith; by promoting more thoughtful living and deeper insights; by offering a process that makes parish life a place for faith formation and whole parish catechesis, and by fostering a discipline in prayer and invites an ongoing conversation with Jesus.
WHY CATHOLIC? is a journey through the Catechism of the Catholic Church beginning with the Creed and explores Catholic teachings based on four pillars of the Catechism including: (1) Scripture and Tradition - The Braid of Revelation, (2) The Body of Christ - Christ's Presence in the Liturgy, (3) Living Gospel Values in the 21st Century, and (4) Prayer - Many Methods, One Purpose.
WHY CATHOLIC? is a concrete approach for evangelization and adult faith formation that fosters the goals of "Our Hearts Were Burning Within Us" and combines the best of faith learning, faith-living and faith-sharing.
