Viewing Immaculate Conception's Web Site
The Immaculate Conception web site is best viewed with a "maximized" display and a display resolution of 1024x768 pixels. For computers using the Microsoft Windows operating system the display can be maximized by clicking on the Maximize icon (□) in the upper right corner. The Maximize icon is to the right of the Minimize icon (-) and to the left of the Close icon (x). Without a maximized display buttons and text will be misaligned.
The Immaculate Conception web site was prepared and is maintained using Microsoft's Office SharePoint Designer 2007 with a display resolution of 1024x768 pixels. If you are using any other display resolution the buttons, text and pictures will be misaligned and improperly displayed. To set your computer's display to a resolution of 1024x768 pixels use the following procedure. Click on the Start icon in the lower left corner. Click on Control Panel then click on the Display icon (for the VISTA operating system click on "Adjust Screen Resolution"). Click on the Settings tab (not required for VISTA operating system). Adjust the Resolution bar to 1024x768 pixels (this is to the extreme left position of the resolution bar). Lastly, click on the OK button. To apply the newly set resolution you will be required to restart your computer.
All photographs have been optimized to minimize their size. If you are using a dial-up internet connection versus a high speed connection such as DSL or cable broadband you may experience slow response when downloading pages with numerous photographs. We apologize for this and have done everything we can do to "speed-up" our web site. Thank you for your kind understanding.
If you need assistance with these setup procedures please contact Paul Schmidt, Immaculate Conception's web site administrator, at (865) 607-2111 or paul_schmidt@bellsouth.net
