The Sacraments - Confirmation

This sacrament is the full initiation into the Church community.  Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seal or “confirm” the baptized in union with Christ and equip them for active participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church. This usually occurs in the 8th grade or the age of 13.

See the Confirmation Calendar  for the current Confirmation preparation class schedule. For additional information contact Kathleen Kramer at (865) 687-3448  kmrk88@gmail.com

Adults who have been baptized but have not yet received the sacrament of Confirmation should contact Marian Howard (865) 522-1508 or icaff@bellsouth.net  for additional information.  Ask about the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) for non-Catholics.
