Baptism
Infant baptism involves a genuine commitment of
the parents to raise their child in the Catholic Faith. Baptismal preparation
is a wonderful and joyful opportunity for new parents to become acquainted with
the theology of Baptism. Baptism preparation classes for parents and godparents
are held bi-monthly. We encourage participation in the preparation session
before your child is born. Call Susan Wyatt (865) 690-7273 or
knoxwyatt@knology.net to register for a class. Baptisms are not scheduled
during Lent.
Adults who would like to be baptized are most welcome. Call Marian Howard (865)

details. Ask about the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) for
non-Catholics.
