St. Bridget (451-525)

 

Virgin and Abbess she along with St. Patrick and St. Columba is a patron saint of Ireland. She founded the first Irish religious community for women at Kildare. She established nunneries all over Ireland.  The Feast Day of St. Bridget is February 1st. 

The lower window is A crucified lamb which symbolizes Christ the Lamb of God who died for us.
