Immaculate Conception Church

Celebration of Mary

On Sunday, August 14th, the day before the Feast of the Assumption, the CELEBRATION OF MARY was held from 2:00PM to 4:00PM. The celebration began with the recitation of the Rosary in the church followed by a program of Marian Music. A display of art including prints, icons, images, books and artifacts about Mary was held in the parish hall. Three presentations including (1) The History of the Rosary by Dr. Tom Ryan, (2) Mary, The Woman by Father Ciccone, and (3) Mary - A Meditation by Dorothy Romines were also held in the parish hall. Light refreshments were served and educational materials were available.

Many thanks to the Immaculate Conception's Women's Group and to Jody Woody, Berna McMillan and Teresa Hurley

who planned and coordinated the Celebration of Mary. It was wonderful.
