Immaculate Conception Church

On December 8th, 2005, the Feast of The Immaculate Conception, over 500 parishioners attended Immaculate Conception's  150th Anniversary Celebration Mass and dinner reception at the Crowne Plaza. The occasion was kicked off by a full page 150th anniversary announcement in the morning edition of the Knoxville News Sentinel. A very special thanks to the companies and persons who made this possible.

Bishop Kurtz celebrated the Mass with Father Joe Ciccone, our Pastor, and Father Jim Haley, our prior Pastor in attendance. Twenty-five guest priests including Father John Duffy, President, Paulist Fathers, were present to participate in this monumental celebration.

The Dinner Program included speeches and presentations by Alex McMillan III, Emcee, Father Joe Ciccone, Father Jim Haley, Father Francis Mankel, Bishop Joseph Kurtz, Mickey Mallone, City of Knoxville Representative, Sister Albertine Paulus,  Father Tom Connellan, and Father John Duffy.
